On Monday 01/03/2021 the first of this year's series of chess tournaments took place online. Nine students signed up and battled over the boards for the hour, until one student came out on top. Winning five and drawing one, a huge congratulations to Kian Egorho (Rang Gluaire) for a great display of tactics and strategy throughout. Not too far behind and claiming second and third place respectively were Dennis Vechiu (Rang Aoife), and Elias Bleahu (Rang Gluaire), both of whom excelled in their games. Are these three here to stay? Or can anyone shake up the current standings? Only time will tell. See you next Monday!
